Our company was founded in 1974 as “Fratelli Macchi & C. snc,” with its headquarters in Samarate (Lombardy, Italy). In 1989, one of the Macchi brothers, Pietro Carlo, moved to Cardano Al Campo, bordering Samarate, and founded Macchi Sergio & C. snc along with his wife and son Sergio. They successfully expanded the business, meeting the demands of the Italian market with passion and dedication.
In 2008, with the sudden loss of Mr. Macchi “Piero,” the company faced a significant challenge. However, the founder’s values inspired his son Sergio to continue the business, ensuring it stayed aligned with market developments. The company specialized in the production of sugar packets in all sizes and customized packet designs for each customer.
In 2024, the company passed to the third generation: sons Alberto & Simone, who decided to preserve the legacy of their father, Macchi Sergio & C. They now operate with higher standards, maintaining a forward-thinking mentality, seriousness, and passion that have been passed down over the years.
Production is directly and fully overseen at every stage of the supply chain by the Macchi family.The professionalism of the team and collaborators is the company’s strength, operating in compliance with food regulations and relying on quality partners for the purchase of selected raw materials.
