– Moro Tendaggi originates from a long family tradition, which under your guidance has evolved into a unique Concept Store. How do you combine respect for your roots with innovation and the pursuit of excellent products?
We live in an era of profound changes, where it is essential to preserve traditions, especially in my field. For instance, I think of hand embroidery, the artisanal crafting of lampshades, handwoven chairs, bespoke footwear, and carpet restoration. These skills are part of our cultural heritage and deserve to be valued. At the same time, I offer my clients innovative products, such as fabrics made from recycled materials like ocean plastic or fine natural fibers. This combination of past and future, tradition and innovation, is the guiding thread of my philosophy: to always deliver excellent products that respect artisanal authenticity.
– Made in Italy and craftsmanship are at the core of your offerings, which range from curtains to bespoke footwear. Why is Italian artisanal quality so important, and how do you convey this principle to your clients?
Italy is the homeland of craftsmanship and brands that have traveled the world for their uniqueness and quality. This is a treasure we must protect and proudly promote. In my work, I am committed to promote only Made in Italy products, from curtain fabrics to bespoke linens, and the unisex footwear of my brand, MORO di LEGNAGO, which I produce on order up to size 50. Each pair of shoes is custom-made to reflect the client’s style and personality. This level of personalization and care is how I communicate the importance and value of Italian artisanal quality to my clients.
– Your product selection, ranging from French home fragrances to fine silks and both classic goose down and more luxurious feathers, demonstrates particular attention to detail and refinement. What are the characteristics of the clients who turn to you, and how do you offer them an exclusive and personalized experience?
My clients are people who appreciate details and seek quality and sophistication. Every experience I offer is fully personalized: I personally oversee all phases, from product selection to consultation, sales, and even the installation of curtains or the placement of furnishings in their homes. It’s like a tailored suit, but for spaces: I propose curtains, linens, and furnishings custom-made for each environment, always harmonizing with the client’s style and wishes. Similarly, for footwear, I let myself be guided by the client’s look and needs to create unique pieces that express their identity.
– What is your vision for the future of your business, and what are the most exciting challenges you face in carrying this project forward? The future of my business is constantly evolving, just like the rapidly changing market.
My vision is to stay aligned with new trends, continuously updating myself on innovative materials and advanced technologies, such as those related to awnings and outdoor pergolas. At the same time, I aim to preserve and further refine the artisanal offerings: from bespoke footwear to the restoration of Vienna straw chairs, from creating lampshades to carpet restoration, as well as custommade drapes and linens, and reupholstering sofas, and mattresses of various types, including luxury ones. The challenge is to maintain a balance between innovation and tradition, always delivering top-quality products that meet the demands of a discerning and attentive clientele.
