Gelateria “Cesare,” the historic kiosk on the Lungomare, known throughout the world, represents the landmark of the city of Reggio Calabria, with more than 100 years behind it. The history of Gelato Cesare is part of the history of the city of Reggio and its inhabitants, and of their memories as well; a way of being and thinking, where quality, constancy and tradition find their highest expression in the ice cream that has been delighting the palate of the people of Reggio and beyond for three generations now.

Cesare produces an ice cream of the highest quality starting from noble ingredients and favoring the products of the territory, such as Bergamot of Reggio Calabria (the world prince of citrus fruits), mango of Catona, annona of Reggio Calabria. Other characteristic flavors are “Italico”, the ice cream that has traveled all over the world to promote the Italian territories, followed by “sole dello stretto”, bronzato, pistachio and hazelnut pesto: delicious ice creams created in order to use ice cream as a territorial marketing tool.

Gelateria “Cesare,” also offers a wide variety of dairy- free flavors and presence of sugar-free flavors. It serves cones cups’ frappe’, and isothermal tubs for take-out, and a must is the briocia (brioche) with the cap filled with ice cream.
