-Located at Via Quaranta 3 in Milan, Gelateria Cream Garden is a landmark for lovers of artisan gelato and high- quality sweets. Founded in 1956 by engineer Gianni Locati and his passion for ice cream, Cream Garden quickly captured the hearts of Milanese residents, becoming one of the city’s most beloved meeting spots. In 1982, the management of the gelateria passed to Raffaele Valente, a gelato maker since 1963, and his wife Concetta, who diligently and courteously manages customer relations.

The new management upheld the historic gelateria’s high tradition of quality while introducing new offerings and expanding the menu. In 1993, the gelateria opened an in-house laboratory for creating new delights. The laboratory, located at number 7 on the same street, was the first in Milan to boast the CEE Stamp, recognition of the artisanal quality of its products. For over 60 years, Cream Garden has maintained the same philosophy: using only the finest raw materials available on the market and offering excellent customer service.

The master pastry chefs and gelato makers at Cream Garden, with great passion and experience, prepare gelato daily without colorings or preservatives, following seasonal availability and ensuring the utmost freshness of ingredients. From the freshest milk to other carefully selected natural components, every product at the gelateria is a masterpiece of taste and authenticity.

Among the most appreciated products are artisan pastries, gelato cups, affogatos, milkshakes, gelato- filled pralines, and gelato cakes (available on order). The gelateria pays special attention to the needs of all customers, also offering gluten-free and lactose-free options, perfect for those with allergies or intolerances. Additionally, the gelateria offers a wide range of vegan products.

The offerings are summarized into four main categories:

Cremolates or Granitas: Made from fruit pulp, water, and sugar, they are semi-liquid, healthy, tasty, and easily digestible.

Fruit Gelato: Similar to sorbet, made from fruit pulp, water, and sugar.

Semifreddi: Mainly composed of whipped cream, enriched with eggs or other natural ingredients to create the desired flavor.

Creams: Cream gelato made with milk, cream, eggs, and various ingredients to create many unique flavors, pasteurized and carefully crafted in the in-house laboratory.
