With over three decades of experience and accolades from international competitions, including the prestigious Sherbeth Festival and the Gambero Rosso’s Tre Coni award for six consecutive years, Antonio continues to push the boundaries of artisanal gelato.

For 10 years, from 1996 to 2006, he was a member of the Accademia della Gelateria Italiana and served as its representative for Sicily. Born and raised in Cerda, his journey into the world of gelato began during his university years in Palermo. Inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Sicily, he opened Gelateria Cappadonia in 1987, dedicating himself to creating gelato that captures the essence of his homeland.
