Estate Decimo: Hospitality and Italian Tradition in the Heart of Tuscany
Tenuta Decimo villa: an artistic residence from the 18th century
Villa Dini, named after the aristocratic family that once owned it, is an ancient villa from the early 1700s, classical and aristocratic, skillfully restored to its original architectural style. All rooms are furnished with elegant solid wood furniture crafted by local artisans. It features rooms, apartments, and suites, allowing each guest to choose accommodation based on their needs. All options are equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The villa is surrounded by a green park of over 2000 square meters and 100 hectares of olive groves, woods, and fields. The villa also includes a panoramic pool, an ancient consecrated chapel, and a sun terrace.
Borgo Di Mariano: an ancient farming village
Within the property, about 600 meters from the Villa, you’ll find a group of farmhouse buildings called “Il Borgo di Mariano,” consisting of four completely stone-built houses with various types of rooms and apartments. It is the typical Tuscan farming village, where everything recalls the “good old times”: the square with cobblestone pavement, working tools, apartments with terracotta floors and wooden beams. All apartments have a private green corner and come with a delightful gazebo with table and chairs for dining and enjoying a moment of relaxation outdoors. The Borgo also has its private pool surrounded by a spacious sunbathing area. A few meters away is our restaurant “La Locanda del Borgo” with a spacious veranda overlooking the garden. The restaurant offers typical dishes from the Tuscan tradition with local products, homemade pasta, and sauces.
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil
We work with our olives with particular attention to environmental conservation and a passion for this land. Thus, our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is born, encapsulating the essence of Tuscan tradition. Cold pressing takes place at a local oil mill that uses state-of-the-art machinery to guarantee high quality while we await the completion of our in-house mill. All olive trees are located on the properties of Tenuta Decimo in San Gimignano, an area classified as the most suitable for oil production in the province of Siena. Production is limited to ensure the high quality and authenticity of the product.”
