It has been lovingly restored over the past 20 years and is now a private home.
The beautifully restored village of Fighine, located mid- way between Rome and Florence, is perched on the southern Tuscan hills, 650 meters above sea level, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It is an oasis of peace and luxury.
With 5 villas and 2 apartments, 2 with a private swimming pool, a Michelin starred restaurant, the Pieve di San Michele Arcangelo church, a theatre/event space and beautiful gardens, Fighine offers everything you need to make your stay and event absolutely perfect.
Fighine’s five holiday rental houses and two apartments are extremely comfortable and luxuriously appointed. They can accommodate 34 guests in 17 ensuite bedrooms. Crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen and generous fluffy towels add to the feeling of luxury. The houses are elegantly furnished with antiques and floors are covered in hand- woven kelims. Each house is provided with a morning maid service, except on Sunday. Outside, lavender edged paths wind through enchanting gardens and roses trail over terraces set out for al fresco dining. Guests staying in Casa Janine, Villa Melissa, Casa Rossa and the Casa Parretti apartments have the benefit of air conditioning. Villa Melissa and Casa Janine also have the advantage of their own private swimming pool. Each house has a television which gets BBC World News and CNN, free WiFi, and full central heating and open fires. Travel cots and high chairs are available. Further accommodation, if required, can be found in the nearby town of San Casciano dei Bagni, 5 km from Fighine.
