Bistrot de Venise is a Restaurant-Bar-Wine Bar very close to Saint Marks’ Square, a gastronomic-cultural meeting point where Food & Wine, Art & Culture have always coexisted, offering our Guests an absolutely unique atmosphere in Venice. In the Bar area, starting from the end of September, artistic, cultural, food and wine meetings are usually held with free admission, that have been characterizing our restaurant for almost 30 years. Included in the most influential national and international gastronomic guides, our restaurant offers original and cultured Italian Modern and Historical-Classical Venetian cuisine, with precise references to Renaissance recipe books by Anonymous Venetian Chef, Maestro Martino, Cristoforo Messisbugo, Bartolomeo Scappi and others accompanied by a Wine List of over 300 labels, created by a team of qualified and dynamic Sommeliers, constantly looking for regional wine rarities and small quality wine productions.
Bar-Enoteca open from 11.00 to 24.00, offers a refined selection of wines by the glass (over 60 labels), cocktails and coffee, as well as a wide selection of take-away bottled wines, with the possibility of home delivery. For special occasions, dinners and private events, we also
offer two unique situations in Venice, two steps away from Saint Marks’ Square and the Rialto Bridge, to make every occasion special.
Our Casanova semi-private room, the ideal choice for weddings, family dinners or corporate events, for small groups of 8 to 12 people, or the Bistrot de Venise Residence, a private room in 18th-century Venetian style, overlooking the canal where gondolas glide by. The room offers a large oval table seating a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16-18 guests, background Baroque music,
free wi-fi, balconies with seating and views of the canal. Catering is by our restaurant, Bistrot de Venise. The chef, maitre and sommelier are available throughout service.
