Bobble Bobble is currently the first and only Italian franchise of Bubble Tea, with its 16 stores opened in just over 2 years (and another 6 on the way), located from north to south throughout the country. Bubble Tea was created in Taiwan in the ‘80s as a hot or cold drink composed of milk, tea and pearls of tapioca flour, later evolved with the creation of “balls” crackling with fruit syrup and a fruit-based topping; the encounter, about 3 years and a half ago, with this type of product was, for the founders of the current company “Bobble Bobble”, a stroke of lightning. The 2 young entrepreneurs Simone and Nicolò , on December 2, 2017, opened in Lucca (Tuscany) the first store almost for fun, betting on this product which at that time was little known in Italy. They expected to only get a return on the fixed costs of management and instead it was an irrepressible success that brought the store to be known throughout Tuscany; all this reverberation, reached the ears of some entrepreneurs in the same region who decided to follow the format and the brand, investing in the winning formula of franchising proposed by Bobble Bobble. From there, the expansion spread like wildfire until it reached the 2 geographical extremes of the peninsula: Aosta (Valle d’Aosta) and Modica (Sicily). The format of the various shops is based on the quality of service and taste combinations designed to satisfy any type of customer request, from lovers of the original Taiwanese recipe to those who are accustomed to a more Western taste (and therefore prefer fruity mixes); the 16 stores have a palette of bright colors and eye[1]catching graphics (see photo of the current store) that create a mix of modernity and recognizability of the brand, which aims to be a reference point for the very young and young people in a target age ranging from 13 to 25 years, but also a must for all Italian and foreign adults who are in love with Bubble tea.
