Altamarea Nautiacal Contruction is a shipyard that produces and markets a wide range of inflatables for leisure, work, or competitions.
Altamarea was born in 2003, from the thirty-years experience of its founders, and it made all the main steps of a grown process that brought it to an increasing success during the years. Although all of the success, the shipyard continues to produce its boats with the same care and attention of the beginnings.
During this years Altamarea’s range of products has been enriched with new models: after the first inflatable (the Wave 19, recently replaced by the new Wave 20) arrived three intermediate models (the Wave 23, 24 and 27) and also the high-end models, the cabinets Discovery 28 and Wave 35.
Altamarea’s inflatables have always been appreciated for the high quality of their components, but mostly for the high performances of their hulls. Wave 24, for example, won the Italian Championship and the World Championship of endurance in its category.
Many raid have been organized by inflatables clubs with Altamarea’s products: between them the “Millemiglia del Mediterraneo” (Sicilia, Sardegna, Corsica) to the “Afrika NW” (Sicilia, Spagna, Marocco, Libia).
Altamarea’s inflatables add to these characteristics of excellence the “Italian Style” that distinguishes them. In the immediate future of the shipyard the production of a new flagship it’s on agenda: the Storm 46. A 46 feet inflatable, with two cabins, dinette and separate WC with shower.
This new flagship model will have large outdoor spaces, with kitchen, fridge, and a wide living.
The project it’s created by the young but promising Sicilian designer Daniele Rizzo. The design of the hull was entrusted to the engineer Giuseppe Musca (he is Sicilian too, but he grew up professionally in New Zealand) Unfortunately the Pandemic Emergency slowed down the
production of the Storm 46, but the 2021 will be the year of its official launch. The shipyard, in fact, will present the inflatable in world premiere in Cote d’Azur next summer, and it will expose it in Cannes and Geneva Boat Shows. This constant grown, together with a continue pursuit of excellence and with the production philosophy of the company are the best guarantee to always offer very high quality inflatables and safety.
